1.  What time are the worship services? Our first service is at 8:00 AM and our second service is at 10:45 AM.  We also have a  Monday night service at 6:00 PM.  Please note that Monday services do not take place during Monday holidays or during Advent and Lent.  We do have Advent and Lenten services on Wednesday evenings.

2.  May I take Communion as a visitor?
We ask that you talk to one of the Pastors before partaking in Communion.

3.  What type of clothes should I wear to a worship service? Our church is very casual. Some members dress up, while others come in jeans. You may want to bring a jacket or sweater, since our church is a little chilly from our air conditioning.

4.  Do you have a nursery for small children? Nursery for children ages infant through age 5 is available in the Blue Room of the Child Care Wing.  It is available during the 10:45 Sunday morning worship service.

5.  Do you have any activities for older children to do during the service? We have busy bags, which contain coloring pages, crayons, book, and a little snack. We also have activity pages for the older children. All of these things are located on our worship cart in the back of the church.

6.  What type of music will I hear? We are a contemporary church.  We mostly sing contemporary Christian music.  This is the type of music like you would hear on Star 88.3 or WBCL.  We do sing a limited number of traditional Lutheran Hymns though.

7.  What is the difference between some of the other types of Lutheran churches and Praise, which is an LCMS (Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod) church? Not all Lutheran churches are alike.  However, the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) and the LCMS (Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod) comprise the majority of Lutheran churches that you will find.  There can be some doctrinal differences between Lutheran churches concerning views such as the inerrancy of the Bible, Women’s ordination, stands on homosexuality, and other issues. For more information on the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, please visit www.lcms.org.

8.  Do you have youth groups? Yes! We have three youth groups for varying ages:
325ers, which is a group for children from 3rd-5th grade;
Junior High Youth Group for children 6th-8th grade; and
Senior High Youth Group for young adults from 9th-12th grade.
