Confirmation
is a time when a person affirms the faith that has been given to them in their baptism. We have our confirmation classes for 6-8th graders, Sunday mornings from 9:20-10:30am, September through May.

6-7th graders meet together. They study the Old and New Testaments.
8th graders study the 6 chief parts of Luther’s Small Catechism. These chief parts are: The Ten Commandments, The Creed, The Lord’s Prayer, The Sacrament of Holy Baptism, Confession, and the Sacrament of the Altar.  Near the end of a student’s 8th grade year, they will have a celebration of their first Communion.

Important Information For Fall 2009:

6th and 7th grades will meet in the gold room, and final year students will gather in the Silver room. At least one parent representative is expected to attend the 8th grade classes on an ongoing basis. All classes end at 10:30 each Sunday. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Brown.
