That was fascinating, it really brings everything to life in a very dramatic presentation. I'll make sure I share it with our congregation and twitter a link to everyone. thanks

Rev. Brown, very interesting post. I've heard a lot of great things about the Church under the Bridge in Austin and the one in Waco. I'm glad you got to experience it firsthand. Sounds like it was a powerful time of worship!

I have never been "TO" that church, but have been by there on Sunday mornings. It's amazing the people that go to great lengths to be there - both to serve and worship. There are several similar ministries that meet under bridges - a great way to bring the message of Christ to those who would otherwise not hear them. I am not sure of any Lutheran Churches doing this, though, and that is a shame...

Hello. I am possibly interested in having my 12 year old son attend your martial arts program. How do I decide if it is right for him and how do we get started. We are members of Bethlehem Lutheran church on South Anthony. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Ms Teddy Bishop

P.S. Can adults come to the program?

The SMPC met on Sept 3. Discussion involved the present employee benefit plans and the Personnel Policies Handbook Dated June9, 2003. Recommendations were made to ask the Church Council to review the benefit plans and make any changes deemed necessary. Regarding the Handbook, a committee is to be formed to review and revise the current policies.
