Mission Trip update

Our first concern with the youth program here at Praise is the protection and wellbeing of our kids. Therefore, with all the safety concerns that are going on in Mexico at this time (violence issues and sicknesses), we have made the decision to re-route the mission trip. As of April 29, 2009, our plans have altered slightly. We are now scheduling a Summer ’09 mission trip inside the United States and will no longer be going to Saltillo, Mexico. Our plans are now to focus on a Habitat For Humanity house build which will take place in California. There are also opportunities there to work in a homeless shelter, serve the elderly homebound, and participate in cleanup efforts in the city. If this domestic trip interests anyone who previously just didn’t want to leave the country, please let pastor Brown know ASAP. There may be open spots available for more people to join us on this great opportunity to serve our Lord’s people and impact His kingdom.
