CHRISTIAN MARTIAL ARTS

 MINISTRY

                   Our Christian martial arts classes are now open to the public.  After holding classes throughout the month of January for Praise members only, we are now ready to expand and open up to the community.  Please tell your friends we are now enrolling new members.  New students should attend an orientation before attending their first class.  Orientations are by appointment and can be scheduled with Pastor Brown.

Classes are open to 3rd grade and older (any age above 3rd grade is fine – even adults).  We are intentional about opening our classes up to 3rd grades on up because those are the ages of our youth groups at Praise.  Our goal is to build our youth groups and invite our martial arts participants, which are composed of many unchurched from the general public, to come to Bible studies, youth group, and church activities.

    Hello. I am possibly interested in having my 12 year old son attend your martial arts program. How do I decide if it is right for him and how do we get started. We are members of Bethlehem Lutheran church on South Anthony. Thank you.

    I have a question is this an actual Martial Art program ran through your church or is this a themed bible study? I don’t really understand what it is your offering. My son (8yr) is interested in a martial arts program however I am not interested in signing up at an acutal academy that requires membership fees and a year long contract.

    We do have actual ongoing martial arts classes that are available to members and non-members of Praise, both youth (3rd grade and above) and adults too. If you provide for me your mailing address, I would be happy to send you a brochure in the mail. We have no contracts. However, we do have a membership fee of $15 yearly and $15 initiation charge that is associated with the program. It is quite minimal compared to other places.
