There will be NO MONDAY worship services during Lent. Please mark your calendars. The Lenten Services are on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm following the 6 pm soup supper. Plan to attend both.
Volunteers are meeting and getting plans together for the GREATEST and most EXCITING Vacation Bible School for summer 2009. Plan to get involved ~ please call the church office at 490-7729 if you would like to help.

Our Christian martial arts classes are now open to the public. After holding classes throughout the month of January for Praise members only, we are now ready to expand and open up to the community. Please tell your friends we are now enrolling new members. New students should attend an orientation before attending their first class. Orientations are by appointment and can be scheduled with Pastor Brown.
Classes are open to 3rd grade and older (any age above 3rd grade is fine – even adults). We are intentional about opening our classes up to 3rd grades on up because those are the ages of our youth groups at Praise. Our goal is to build our youth groups and invite our martial arts participants, which are composed of many unchurched from the general public, to come to Bible studies, youth group, and church activities.
JOIN the Thursday Morning Bible Study ~ they’re looking at the prophets in the OT. Great reminders of Divine Discipline for us in this age ~ there is nothing new under the sun ~ we are all sinners and need redemption and our Savior! Please come at 9:30 a.m. on Thursdays ~ bring your coffee. It’s GREAT! Janie Degitz leads this and right now Pastor Dancy is teaching on Jeremiah. Call the office if you have any questions 490-PRAY.

The SMPC met on Feb 4 to review Pastor Kasper’s final segment in his report to our congregation following his meeting with us during Jan 25-26, 2008. A conclusive written report of all these committe meetings will be delivered to the members of Praise in the near future.
